IT Geddes, the Dunedin Metropolitan and North Otago wicket-keeper, received a nasty blow on the nose which also broke his glasses during the morning session on the second day in the Otago Country Associations and Southland first innings when a ball from Haig lifted sharply. CG Graham took over as the wicket-keeper.
Geddes resumed the wicket-keeping duties in the Otago Country Associations and Southland second innings
D McDonald umpired on the first day but was replaced by JD Harwood on the second day
