Notes
--> The match was scheduled for two days but extended to three.
--> Day 1 Lunch: Rangitikei (1) 124/5 (JD Smith 20*)
--> Day 2 Lunch: Wanganui (1) 91/3 (Orr ?*)
--> Bowling in the Rangitikei first innings adds 1 run under

Light rain fell just prior to the start of the match but it was not sufficient to hinder the bowlers until a few overs before lunch when the ball became greasy
After lunch on the first day the rain increased in volume but play continued until 3.20pm when it started to come down heavily and play was abandoned for the day
On the second day there was only a very light fall of rain during the morning session and a couple of showers in the afternoon but it was not sufficient to interfere with play
