Overnight rain delayed the start of the match by 2 hours on the first day
DM Barry and HS Fullerton-Smith added 86 in 85 minutes for the fourth wicket in the Rangitikei second innings
Wanganui were given 75 minutes to score 106 to win the match outright but made no real attempt to get the runs knowing their first innings lead was sufficient to win the elimination match
